How to tape your Achilles tendon

Pain in the Achilles tendon? This injury is common among runners. Excess body weight, poor foot alignment or unsuitable footwear can all contribute to Achilles tendon pain. The discomfort is often felt a few centimetres above the heel, where the tendon may also appear thickened. This taping method helps support and stabilise the tendon during movement.

How to tape heel spur (calcaneal spur)

Is the plantar fascia under your foot painful due to overuse? Do you mainly experience discomfort when getting up or after long periods of activity? You may also feel pain in the heel area that radiates towards the toes. This taping method helps the sole of the foot relax and provides relief from tension.

How to tape shin splints or foot drop

The anterior shin muscle (tibialis anterior) is responsible for lifting the foot. Overuse can cause pain or pressure in the shin, and lifting the foot may become painful. The muscle is strained. If this muscle is too weak, you may develop a drop foot. Tape in the opposite direction instead. See the instruction.

How to tape inner foot and shin pain

The tibialis posterior muscle lies between the shinbone and the calf bone and plays an important role in foot movement. When overused, for example due to excessive training or poor posture, it can cause pain on the inner side of the foot. The discomfort may also radiate towards the back of the ankle and the shin. This taping method helps relieve pain and supports recovery.

How to tape a bunion (hallux valgus)

Do you have a hallux valgus, where the big toe points outward? This taping method helps relieve discomfort such as redness, pain and pressure sensitivity around the affected area.

How to tape the sole of your foot

Is the plantar fascia under your foot painful due to overuse? Do you mainly experience discomfort when getting up or after prolonged activity? You may also feel pain in the heel area that can radiate towards the toes. This taping method helps the sole of the foot to relax and provides relief from tension.

How to tape a painful forefoot

Do you experience pain in the ball of your foot due to overuse? A weak forefoot arch or a splayed foot can also cause discomfort in this area. This taping method helps reduce strain on the ball of the foot, relieving pain and improving comfort while walking.
