Which CGM sensors are supported, and should I choose the Oval or Circle Patches?

CureTape Patches Oval: This is the familiar version many users already know. The patches are slightly larger, which makes them suitable for nearly all widely used CGM sensors. They are commonly chosen for Medtronic Guardian, Dexcom G6 and G7 and FreeStyle Libre sensors. CureTape Patches Circle: This is our newer, more compact option designed for smaller sensors. The Circle patches are typically used with FreeStyle Libre, Dexcom G7 and Medtronic Simplera sensors.

Are the sensor patches water resistant?

Yes. Our patches are water resistant, so your CGM sensor remains protected while swimming or showering. After contact with water, gently pat the patch dry with a towel.

Which CGM sensors are supported?

CureTape Patches Oval: this is the familiar larger design that fits most commonly used sensors, including Medtronic Guardian, Dexcom G6 and G7 and FreeStyle Libre. CureTape Patches Circle: this newer, smaller patch is designed for compact sensors such as FreeStyle Libre, Dexcom G7 and Medtronic Simplera.

How many sensor patches are included in one pack?

Each box contains 25 sensor patches. We also offer a mixed pack that includes all eight available variants.

How long do CureTape Sensor Patches stay in place?

The patches can adhere for up to 10 days when the skin is properly prepared and the application instructions are followed.

Are CureTape Sensor Patches suitable for children?

Yes. The patches are appropriate for both children and adults who use CGM sensors.

Can I use sensor patches if I am allergic to adhesives?

This varies from person to person. The adhesive is gentle and generally non-irritating, although we do not recommend the patches for individuals with active skin conditions or extremely sensitive skin.

Is it possible to apply the sensor patch myself?

Definitely. Most users find that application becomes easier with experience. In some situations it may still be helpful to have someone assist you.

Will covering my sensor affect the accuracy of the readings?

No. Placing a sensor patch over your CGM does not affect the accuracy of glucose measurements.

Can the sensor patches be reused?

No. CureTape Sensor Patches are designed for single use only.
