Applying the tape to your elbow for stability
Outside of the elbow
Anchor
- Keep the elbow slightly bent. Tear the backing paper about 5 cm from one end and place the anchor without stretch on the outer side of the forearm, just below the elbow.
Apply with stretch
- Remove the rest of the backing paper and apply the tape across the outer elbow joint with firm stretch. Finish the anchor without stretch on the upper arm.
Secure
- Rub the tape firmly from the anchors toward the center to fully activate the adhesive on both strips.
Result
- The outer strip should feel firm and supportive when you bend or extend your elbow.
Inside of the elbow
Anchor
- Bend the elbow slightly. Tear the backing paper about 5 cm from one end. Place the anchor without stretch on the inner side of the forearm, just below the elbow crease.
Apply with stretch
- Remove the remaining backing paper and apply the tape across the inner elbow joint with firm stretch (ligament technique). Lay the final anchor without stretch on the upper arm.
Secure
- Rub the tape firmly to activate the adhesive and ensure the strip is fully secured against the skin.
Result
- Both strips together provide stability on the inner and outer side of the elbow joint. Rub all tape firmly to secure and activate.
