Measuring and cutting the tape
Measure & Cut
- Sit or stand and stretch the calf by bending the leg forward.
- Measure the tape length from the heel up to the back of the knee. Cut the tape in half, leaving the last 10 cm uncut.
Applying the tape to your calf
Step 2
- Place the base of the wider part of the tape on the bottom of the heel without stretch. Always make sure there are no wrinkles in the tape.
Step 3
- Pull your foot towards you until you feel a stretch in the calf.
Step 4
- Remove the release paper from the first strip up to the last 5 cm and apply the tape with light tension along the outer edge of the calf muscle.
Step 5
- Apply the second strip in the same way along the inner edge of the calf muscle.
Step 6
- Rub the tapes firmly to ensure proper adhesion.
- Make sure the two ends of the tapes do not finish in the crease behind the knee, as this area is sensitive and the tape may cause irritation.
